Grainne Lyons makes these flat-pack colourful light shades. You self-assemble each shade from 12 individual modules that slot together to form a 400mm sphere structure. And when lit they create the most beautiful unique shadow patterns. But their best detail is that they are reversible. The Design Tower

Housed in an historic 1862 old sugar refinery in Dublin's Grand Canal Quay, the seven-story Design Tower is home to a group of skilled designers and makers. Brimming with some of Ireland's top creative talent, you'll find goldsmiths, jewellery designers, ceramics artists, sculptors, painters, textile, paper and painting conservationists and gallery spaces. This five minute film opens the doors to the studios and introduces you to some of the personalities, stories and bespoke designs created in the tower.
